What is the difference between Composite and UPVC?
UPVC doors are made purely with plastic, whereas composite doors are made from multiple materials, the core of a composite door can contain wood, insulating materials and many other layers which are all protected by a weather resistant outer skin.
Do you do Greenhouse Glass?
Yes we do!
Standard greenhouse glass sizes come as follows:
610mm x 610mm (24in x 24in)
610mm x 457mm (24in x 18in)
1422mm x 730mm (56in x 29in) - known as Dutch light
Greenhouse/Dutch light glass can also be cut to size.
Can you cut Toughened Glass?
Toughened glass is not able to be cut, drilled or shaped once the toughening process has been completed. This is because toughened glass is specifically designed to distribute pressure and will crack and shatter if the tensions within the glass are broken.

What are the UPVC wait times?
Once you have accepted our quote we will order your UPVC doors and/or windows within a week of your acceptance. From order we expect to be fitting UPVC within 8 weeks. If a knock out, non standard size or colour is required this time can be considerably longer due to manufacturing or staff requirements. All lead times will be stated on your quote so please consider this when accepting and treat our staff with respect and kindness when asking after updates.
